Manzano
Esteban
was born in La Plata, Argentina, where he began his studies
in voice with instructor Elsa Paladino and later with Rina
Nigri and Nino Falzetti. He is currently a student of the
Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag, under the instruction
of Manon Heijne and Sasja Hunnego.
As a soloist he has been invited by well-known artists, such
as Gabriel Garrido, Andres Gerszenszon, Guillermo Opitz and
Jordi Mora to sing a variety of pieces, including: "Liebeslieder
Walzer" by Brahms, "Vespro della Beata Vergine"
by Monteverdi, "Le Reniement de St Pierre" by Charpentier,
"Jeremy Lamentations" by Thallis, and Palestrina
"B minor Mass" by Bach, as well as compositions
from the Latin American Baroque.
Some of Esteban's most recent performances include the "Kunste
Festival des Arts" in Brussels singing the opera "Gli
Amori di Apollo e di Dafne" by F. Cavalli (Apollo), conducted
by Gabriel Garrido and Beatriz Catani. On 2007 he sang "Die
Schöpfung" (Uriel) by Haydn in Barcelona, conducted
by Jordi Mora, and performed in various concert programs throughout
Holland.
